Copyright Policy

Copyright Policy

At Automotive International College for Trades (AICT), students are required to comply with the Copyright Act of 1968, including the digital copyright amendments. It is strictly prohibited for students to use AICT’s equipment and facilities to infringe copyright, such as copying or communicating copyrighted information in print or digitally, unless it falls under reasonable portions required for research and study.

For study and research purposes, students are generally allowed to copy up to 10% or one chapter of a book, or one article per issue of a journal. In certain circumstances, it may be possible to copy more, but it must still adhere to copyright regulations.

For more detailed information on copyright laws, students are encouraged to visit the Australian Copyright Council website (https://www.copyright.org.au).
